The Congress is a unique and special event. There are many spiritual gatherings in the world but nothing quite like the Congress with its specific mission to increase communication and love between humans, fairies and devas. Our intent is communication and cooperation, not only for our personal selves, but for all life. This gathering is an opportunity for everyone to immerse themselves in the experience of co-creating with the fairy realm—from the set-up, the camping, the communal kitchen, to the workshops and circles and everything else we do. We are allying ourselves with Mother Earth and with the nature fairies and devas to bring more peace and love to planet Earth. We are not a frivolous event although we do have lots of fun. |
Many cultures and spiritual traditions recognize the fairy realm although they may use different words and descriptions. The Fairy Congress brings together people on the pathways of Findhorn, Perelandra, the Celtic Faery tradition, angels, the occult and metaphysical teachings, paganism and shamanism. All are invited. The Congress atmosphere is of inclusiveness, openness and expansion.
Our goal is not to escape the outer world but to positively affect it. At this time of multiple crises on earth we feel it is very important to seek alliances with as many light forces as possible in other realms. Mother Earth and the fairy realms ARE big players in what is transpiring on the planet.
Many humans, fairies, devas, angels and spiritual beings come together to create an outpouring of education and celebration. The fairy and devas who attend the Fairy Congress are spiritually advanced and very intelligent. We approach the fairies and devas with respect and love as co-creators of this event.
It is a rare event for humans to experience so much fairy energy and such an outpouring of fairy/devic blessings.
Participants are requested to tune into their fairy friends, angels and spirit-guides in the higher realms and invite them to the Congress.
We are all Light Beings and each of us has the potential to assist in the widening of communication between our realms, in cooperation with the great Deva Light Beings who work with all of Earth's plants, animals and life forms.
HOW MANY KINDS OF FAIRIES ARE THERE ?
...AND WHAT DO THEY DO ?
There are a lot of different definitions of fairy, deva, faery, elf, angel, The Elana, nature spirit, elemental, gnome, etc. etc. Let us see how many different kinds of definitions we can come up with during this congress. It doesn't take much research to realize there are a wide diversity of beings in the fairy realms. Names (labels) vary from person to person and culture to culture. Our goal is to get a clearer picture of the inner essence of the different kinds, and what they do. The Sunday morning panel/group discussion will explore this issue. This will be a lively discussion in which everyone can participate. A sharing of knowledge, viewpoints, opinions and insights.
Perspectives from other cultures
Several years ago the Congress organizers decided that we wanted to bring in people from other cultures to contribute their perspectives on communication with fairies, devas and nature spirits. It is gratifying to see that the congress has moved in this direction.
2007 Presenters Cultural Affiliations
* Caitlín Matthews is British and a leading scholar of British and Celtic traditions.
* Madi Nolan was raised in Tibetan monasteries and brings a Tibetan perspective.
* Dorothy Maclean is Canadian and lived in Scotland for many years.
* R.J. Stewart is Scottish and a leading scholar of Celtic and English traditions.
* Johnny Moses (Whis.stem.men.knee) is from the Tulalip tribe (Coast Salish).
* Paul Wagner (Che ok`ten) is Saanich (Coast Salish).
* David Lertzman is Canadian and works extensively with First Nations tribes.
* Eileen Kilgren is from the US, but is steeped in Irish traditions.
* J. Joshua Phillips and Seda represent cultural traditions being created by youth today.
* The other presenters from the US also bring unique perspectives: Sal Rachele, Amy Leigh, Mary J. Getten, MaryGold & Mark McNutt, Shebear, Lady Cyn DeFay, and SeaHeart
