Report on the 1985 Fairy & Human Relations Congress
(held in the fairy realm)

[The following is Daphne's Foreword to the fairies report on the 1985 Fairy & Human Relations Congress. The Congress had been held annually in the fairy realm for over 30 years at that point, being held annually since the early 1950s. Editor.]

Foreword
By Daphne Charters

Early in 1985, a friend of mine, Susan Anderson, who is a professional illustrator and paints fairies [Susan painted the second cover for A True Fairy Tale], phoned me to say that a man to whom she had lent my book A True Fairy Tale, would very much like to meet me. I agreed to see him and John arrived. He was very well read and knowledgeable over occult matters, and he had tried many systems for expanding consciousness, some of which he would probably have been better without! So we had no difficulty in finding things to talk about.

Eventually he said, "Have you heard of Sai Baba?" I had not, and my heart sank at the thought of yet another Indian guru. In any case, with all the wonderful things I already had: the fairies, my guide, mentor and beloved friend of many incarnations, whom I know as Father John, Augustine or Ronanus, and my clair-audience enabling me to communicate with them all, I really was not looking for anything or anyone else. John told me about Sai Baba - that He is the Avatar of the Age, that he heals the sick, performs miracles, and teaches that all religions are one. He does not encourage people to change their religion because the basis of all of them are the same. It is only man who has produced tenets and taboos, causing not unity, but division among the people of the world. John offered to lend me some books which he had brought along with him, and after he left I browsed among them and chose one to read more carefully. This was Peggy Mason and Ron Laing's wonderful "Sai Baba, The Embodiment of Love" When I reached about page 20, I knew that he was the "One", and I have never changed my mind.

To go back to the early days of my relationship with the fairies nearly forty years ago, I was working with the "earthbound" and was in touch with the guides of various nationalities, who always during their visits to me also talked with the fairies. One day, after a negro, Maroni, had been with us, I asked Father John whether there were black fairies, to which he replied, "There are fairies attached to every country under the sun, and they usually form their bodies so that they are similar to those of the people in the land where they live." I then asked him whether it would be possible to bring the different races together by holding a Congress, during which they could exchange ideas, discuss their various types of work and see what fairies from other lands looked like. This suggestion was passed to a Higher Power and the idea was accepted. I had been thinking in terms of about two hundred visitors, but in fact three thousand delegates came to the first Congress, which was a tremendous success; but so much excitement and enthusiasm were generated that I fear arrangements did not always go according to plan or take place at the allotted time!

From this enjoyable and modest beginning, a Congress has been held in late summer every year. The theme is always to generate as much power as possible through the fairies, angels and discarnate humans who have attended the gathering in increasing numbers from the first one onward. This power is for the good of Earth, her inhabitants and her substance, whether human, animal, trees, and plants, metals, minerals and rock formations including precious stones, rivers, oceans and their contents - in fact all the constituent parts of Earth and her environment. Added to this, there is always a concerted effort to promote peace and good-will between man and fairy on every plane.

In the intervening years we have all grown in maturity, and the Fairies have expanded mentally. A further group has joined us making three in all, and there are now thirty one members of them that I know individually and with whom I communicate regularly.

During the preparation for the 1985 Congress, Father John approached Sai Baba, for whom he had worked for many years, and asked Him if He would do the Fairies the great honor of bringing the Congress to its close. He agreed.

The Fairies have experienced wonderful visitations from High Devas, but always they meditated on, and yearned for Him, whom they called the Nameless One. I knew that an exalted Entity was to be present at the Congress and I asked Father John to tell me His name. "Maratumel" he replied. So when one of the Fairies visited me later, I said quite casually, "By the way, Father John has given me the name of the Exalted One Who is to preside over the Congress. It is "Maratumel". I did not realize at the time that this was a momentous revelation for them, and that I had given them the Name of the Nameless One.

The astonishing fact is that not only each of my fairies, but also the 200,000 delegates had a different experience of the "Appearance". Some saw him as Sai Baba, some as Maratumel, others as a constantly changing form either male or female whom they revered, as an animal or Celestial Light - each according to his or her need and present state of consciousness. In time the whole proceedings took two minutes, a sublime example of Divine Magic, which to them, will last for ever.

After the Congress, each gave me a detailed description of his or her individual experience, which I have now incorporated into this pamphlet. I hope it will give you some enchanting moments and open up a New World far removed from the jokey "fairies at the bottom of my garden." If people did but know, if they were not all over their gardens, giving power to the plants and trees, and taking them through each phase of their growth from seed to flower and fruit, to put it simply, they would have no gardens. Many fairies are, of course, concerned only with the Nature Kingdom, but others who have been in contact with man's concrete thinking mind, expand in knowledge and gain the ability to serve both the Human and Devic Evolutionary Cycles.

Preface
Group I

As some of the fairies in their descriptions of the Congress use the term "duo-dua" and "pares" (sing. paris) here are a few words about fairy unions. They do not marry as humans do on Earth, but they form relationships between males and females. There are two categories which come under the heading of "duo-dua". Some are what might be calling twin-souls; these split at an early stage of their evolutionary cycle, forming two parts of a whole; each wends its way through mineral, vegetable and animal kingdoms until they eventually meet once more as separate entities who gradually draw together though aeons of time and become one again.

Fairies who have been united during various descents into matter similar to our incarnations, and also for periods on higher planes between them also receive the title duo-dua. At times they are separated; at others they come together again, possibly after many years, proving their love is an indestructible bond.

Those that stay together for a number of years become pares. There are also others who have relationships sof a temporary nature.

The love-act is an exchange of power - a surrender of mind with a blending of their ethereal bodies, attaining a state of rapture. The interchange of power to a lesser degree is also used as a gesture of friendship or sympathy. There is no resentment if one paris gives and receives power from another fairy. Indeed to do so with a leader is in the nature of a reward for work well-done. Duo-duas usually exchange power only with each other and their leaders, except when they themselves are leaders.

The joint leaders of Group 1 are two girls called Mirilla and Merella. Mirillas's paris is Movus; when I first met him he was underleader of the Group with Normus as its leader. As the years passed, Normus was promoted and became an Over-leader, with four groups. Now he has twenty one groups. The time came for Movus also to become an Over-leader, and he now has sixteen groups.

Mirilla and Movus were not only hard workers, but were continually expanding their consciousness by visits to the higher spheres.

Merella was a bit on the wild side! She would exchange power with virtually any fairy to whom she

felt attracted. Her paris, Nuvic, was always proud of her beauty and vitality, and accepted that fact of frequently exchanging power with other males because she assured him that each blending helped her to progress. This supposition proved to be accurate because, apart from Normus and Movus, she was the most advanced fairy in the group.

The affect of her experience at the Congress was so overwhelming that she literally became another person. I am not clairvoyant and can only know which fairy is with me by the "feel" of his or her vibration. For quite a time afterwards. I did not recognise Merella's. From being ever active and with unlimited enthusiasm for her work, which was experimenting with seeds, and her enjoyment of every aspect of life, she had instantaneously become serene, gentle and at peace.

The group includes two other pares, Namsos and Sirilla, Namsos was very shy and worked with the tiny animals in the soil, the grubs, slugs and his favorites - worms. By the time I moved to London, all the fairies were employed with other work and direct attachment to the Plant Kingdom ceased because I then had no garden. It is not therefore surprising that he gathered round him many larger fairy-animals; you might say that he now has the equivalent of a sanctuary for misfits, which under his loving and patient care soon revert to the category to which they belong and can lead normal lives.

Sirilla was always bright with an intense interest in her task with the trunks of trees and the insects which run up and down the cracks in the bark.

Nixus and Lyssis were the other two shy members of the group and also the youngest. Originally Lyssis worked with the small flowers in the garden and Nixus tended the lawn. Both were modest and unsure of themselves, but the work in in which all the fairies became involved, including teaching, during the next thirty years gave them the confidence which they had originally lacked.

Rhelia, in the beginning of my contact with her was not a member of any of the groups. She, with two young males companions, were bringing in three fairy "children". As with their human counterparts, they in turn reached the age and degree of maturity when they not longer required the security of a family, and left to lead their own lives.  Rhelia and her two companions also parted and she joined Group 1. she has no paris, but is loved by all.
